Music Style & DJ Equipment

Danceable hits

The core repertoire is built around melodic music from the 80s, 90s and 2000s, together with current danceable hits. The exact balance depends on the guests.

Reading the dance floor

I watch who is dancing, which age groups respond and how long a style continues to work. Changes are made in coherent blocks rather than after every track.

House and trance

For the right late-night crowd, thematic sets can include classic trance, house, minimal techno and the Hungarian Coronita sound, especially tracks from 1997–2000.

Equipment

The main system uses two RCF ART 715-A MK V active speakers, professional stands and cabling, a compact DJ booth, a modern MacBook Air and Traktor control. A subwoofer and more lighting can be added later.

Microphone and light

Wireless handheld microphones, lapel microphones and a wired backup are available or planned. Lighting uses LED, PAR and moving effects without turning an elegant event into a festival stage.

The right volume

Good sound is not simply loud sound. Dancers should feel the music, while guests outside the dance area should still be able to talk.
