Corporate events

The mood of a corporate event often comes down to one thing: whether people feel they can finally let go. At year-end parties, Christmas parties, team dinners, networking evenings and company celebrations, as a DJ I carry that arc all the way through, from gentle background music to a proper party. I watch for the moment a dinner turns into a celebration, and that is exactly when I lift the tempo.

I come to the venue as a DJ, with my own equipment. Paphos and the surrounding area are my main territory, but I also take corporate events in other parts of Cyprus, whether it is a hotel, a restaurant, an office, a terrace or an event held on a boat. My mobile setup is above all suited to small and medium events, and I always match the technical setup to the venue and the expected number of guests.I do not play through a fixed, ready-made programme. One kind of music works during a reception, another at dinner, and something else again when colleagues finally want to dance. Pop and chart hits, funky, disco, R&B, house, the classics of the 70s, 80s and 90s, and on request Greek or other international music too: I tune it to the people in the room, not to a set template.

Music, microphone and technology

I can provide an RCF sound system, a wireless microphone and lighting to match the mood, so at most venues there is no need to look for a separate technical supplier. If the programme includes an award, a toast or a company announcement, I provide the microphone and of course help with the short technical support the programme needs. I used to work as a master of ceremonies, so paying attention not only to the music but to the rhythm of the evening and to the guests comes naturally to me. Today I work purely as a DJ, but I bring that event experience to every booking.

A store opening or showroom event is a different case, where the music sets the frame. For shops, salons, restaurants, bars and offices I build the opening atmosphere with carefully chosen music that can stay a pleasant, conversation-friendly background, yet grow into a party almost unnoticed if the guests take it there.For a more personal celebration you can also look at my private party DJ page, and for the calmer part of the evening the sound and background music page is a good place to start.
