Behind me are nearly forty years in events and more than 800 event and wedding run-sheets that I wrote and directed myself, so I know exactly where a wedding day comes under strain: in the timing, in coordinating suppliers and in the practical pressure behind the scenes. That is why I do not compete with the planner or the master of ceremonies; from the DJ position I quietly support the process you have built. I know when to take initiative and when simply to start the right track at the right moment.

For me a detailed run-sheet is not a burden but the basis of a calm day. I prepare every entrance, speech, first dance, cake cutting and planned music cue in advance and rehearse them in my head, then stay in constant contact with the responsible coordinator throughout the day. So if something slips along the way, which is completely normal at a wedding, nothing collapses: we simply adjust the order quietly.

Venue and schedule

Where practical, I am glad to arrange a site visit with the planner beforehand, because most evening surprises can be prevented in the morning. Together we go through access, parking, load-in, power, shade and rain protection, the working area and any sound restrictions. A well-prepared venue makes your job easier on the day too.
